Outdoor Furniture Plus announced a contest for its 2009 summer staycation series. A new five-piece $2000 teak patio set from Three Birds Teak, a fine distributor of teak and wicker products, will be given away to the winning Twitter submission. Entrants will share why their backyard deserves the patio set to enhance their summer staycation, and include a photo of their backyard space.

The criterion to win is “to give the cleverest reason this patio set will enhance your summer staycation experience.” (The photo just helps Outdoor Furniture Plus envision your idea).  To enter the contest, you must send a tweet between July 14 and July 31 that includes:

• The reason why you deserve to win the furniture set.
• The #outdoorfurniture hashtag.
• A photo of your current outdoor furniture setup or backyard.

It is only necessary to submit one tweet to be entered in to the contest. If multiple tweets are submitted, Outdoor Furniture Plus will only consider one of the responses. So, be creative and ensure the tweet represents the best reason you need this teak furniture set.  Don’t forget to include the best (or worst) photo of your backyard and use the #outdoorfurniture hashtag in your tweet.

The winners will be announced on Twitter via the Outdoor Furniture Plus Twitter handle, @furnitureplus.  Be sure to follow us on Twitter, and the winner will also be posted on our outdoor furniture giveaway page.
